You Winked at me? Seriously?

I'm on a dating website. Yep. Things are that tough. I NEVER EVER thought I would join an internet dating site. In fact, I used to make fun of people putting all their stuff out online. What kind of a way is that to meet people? Well, let me tell you, it seems like the ONLY way. I get up, go to work, and come home. All of my friends are married, I hate going to clubs, and I work with a bunch of women. Therefore, my options are limited. So instead of whining about being single, I'm giving the online thing a shot.

I've met 3 guys in person so far- none of which have made it further than a 2nd date. Of course I'm disappointed, but it's also a little unrealistic for me to think I would find "the one" right away.

What concerns me though is the unexpected, unsolicited attention that I am receiving from men 45 years and up. I mean, seriously? I had a 60 year old on my page the other day. What the what? I'm 32 years old and it clearly states that I am looking for someone within a range of 5 years. What are these guys thinking? (Like I dont know!) I guess I am a little more reserved when it comes to dating someone within your age range. And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they are "old", but I am saying that they are too old to date me.

I am pretty lonely though and the clock continues to click away. So who knows...
